In its 17th edition, the Eurasian Prize sets apart the architecture and design student competition into the separate competition category, Student Awards. The category features four subcategories related to the living environment design, with emphasis on sustainability.
Overall evaluation will be based on the following criteria with their relevance depending on each subcategory:
Urban planning — “City-technology” (smart city); “Eco-city” (a city that is in equilibrium with the surrounding natural environment and with internal natural-anthropogenic spaces); “Multinational city”; “Quality city” – projects and solutions that are designed to improve the level and characteristics of the city, show a deeper potential within the city, integrate the spirit and culture of the city into urban planning processes and form a spiritual essence that reflects the identity of the city, making buildings more beautiful, more convenient utilities and more comfortable living environment. In all proposals, the city should not come into conflict with the natural environment.
Industrial architecture — Factories, Recycling centres, Science and technology hubs and centers, Production facilities, Science parks, Technological clusters, environmental research and protection facilities.
Commercial interior — HoReCa, shopping malls, retail spaces, showrooms, entertainment venues, fitness and health centres, spas and other service-oriented spaces.
Public and residential architecture — Housing, Priathouses,Mixed-use objects including functionally different groups of premises united by a single compositional and planning intent; Exhibition centers, Congress halls, Coworking Spaces, Business centers; Shopping facilities, Retail, Showrooms.
Industrial design — Lighting, furniture, kitchenware, table linens, bath and tabletop accessories, interior objects, decorative objects, rugs, stemware, bed accessories, home equipment. Small architectural forms and objects of the urban environment, cycle parking, children’s play and sports grounds, elements of street improvement, pavilions, stops, outdoor furniture, etc.

As an architecture student, you are offered a unique opportunity to get an independent expert evaluation of your skill, knowledge and talent.
In order to participate you have to apply with projects designed or completed in the past three (3) years, between 2020 and 2022, and which have never been awarded with the Eurasian Prize at the Professional level.
