Residental House "Bloxx"

Location: Moscow

Description:

Many modern projects of residential buildings are aimed at bringing people together and creating various types of activities for them. My decision of the residential complex is absolutely the opposite. I believe that someday some type of person will understand the significance of being alone time. No one thinks about the poor introverts sweating every time they find themselves with someone else in the elevator. The House is located near the Moscow River in the other side of Moscow City Center. There are many entertainment venues, educational institutions for children and teenagers, as well as convenient transportation. I decided to use only ‘private’ spaces and, also uncommon decision nowadays was ridding of commercial spaces. So, the main question was How to make all these apartments separate units? Thus, on the way to your apartment, meetings with neighbors are minimized by dividing the apartment into blocks, which are entered through a separate private elevator. The House can be divided into 4 sections. Each of them has the main staircase, which works as a hard core for every section. Formally, I turned each odd floor at a certain angle to create a more complex volume, which is necessary for this philosophy of construction. Thanks to the turn, open terraces appeared in many apartments. Even inner space of every flat can be divided into common and private – all users can choose what they want more – stay calm and communicate only with themselves, or otherwise speak to other apartment members.
