The concept of straw glamping is based on the image of traditional Latvian architecture, the main distinguishing features of which are thatched roofs. The master plan of the territory, as well as the nature of the architecture, is thought out in such a way that a person who was on the ground did not lose a sense of freedom. Thatched roof and wooden facades are the main features. The elongated territory offers many opportunities for recreation, leading visitors along residential modules and public gardens to a central facility with a multi-purpose area that accommodates an event area, a dining area and an art installation with barbecue. Closer to the river there is a sauna, and on the shore there is a pier with hammocks and boats. All design solutions follow the principles of passive design. The main mission of the project is to create a glamping that corresponds to the vector of sustainable development and educates a responsible consumer in the process of creating a local natural environment.
