Description:

Project summary: The concept of spatial development of the municipality of Chisinau aims to define the spatial development of the municipality, taking into account the increasing agglomeration processes. It also aims to develop and subsequently monitor solutions for strategic planning and operative management of the city. Work content: - Comprehensive analysis and prerequisites for area development; - Feasibility Study and Concept of the Regional Development Plan. Design years: 2019 - 2021 Realisation period: 2030 The object of the competition: Chisinau Municipal Development Plan: "Sustainable Socio-Economic and Spatial Development Strategy" Strategy's aims: Definining priorities, goals and objectives for socio-economic and spatial development of the municipality, which are coordinated with the priorities and goals for socio-economic and spatial development of the General Mayor of Chisinau, the Municipal Council of Chisinau, the sector praetors of Chisinau and other interested parties. The implementation of the mission is based on the key aspects for provision of socio-economic and spatial development strategy - creation of a region with high-quality life conditions and a wide range of opportunities for self-realization of the citizens, which consists of three key topics: improving the population's income and health, as well as its level of education; creating conditions which support the growth of people's self-esteem as a result of the formation of social, political, economic and institutional systems oriented towards human dignity; increasing the degree of personal freedom of people, including their economic freedom.
